Spring 2004: Animation II (still in progress)

Still images of my work in progress entitled "Cellular Clash," a one-minute animation that is about a conflict stemming from communication barriers between a Deaf and hearing character.

UPDATED: The Cellular Clash animation is nearly done! boy, does it take a lot of work for one mere person to do! I am the producer, director, actor, rotoscoper, foley artist, key grip, all that!

Click for animation: 16.1 MB avi; 56 seconds

This is how I created the animations; by rotoscoping, which means I essentially "trace" over actual images, and in this case, I rotoscoped myself! It is a long, tedious, and back-stiffening task, which only simply exposes the fact that I sorely need a motion capture system (click to see what one looks like).
